Rose has a Passion for Prevention and she “walks the walk and talks the talk” as the host of “Health Connections” a weekly, live health talk show. Rose is empowered by opportunities to address community health challenges and disparities by improving access to programs and services. Her goal is to empower individuals to improve self-care, with health and wellness information and prevention education, designed to help them to take charge of their health, and make positive health choices for healthier lifestyles.
Rose is a St. Louis native, a Registered Nurse and has a Masters Degree in Public Health Administration. She is President of RMRT, Inc. (dba) Health Connections working in the healthcare industry for over 18 years. She is a nationally known Health and Wellness Educator/Consultant, training and technical assistance provider, delivering health and wellness education, and consultation to community health organizations as they strive to develop quality community health programming, and quality health care management systems and services. Rose provides health and educational events and conference planning services for state, regional and national corporations and organizations, i.e. Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (MO, LA & GA), WellPoint Foundation, BET Foundation, National Head Start Association, National Minority Aids Council, Association of Black Cardiologist, and Roche Faith-based programs.
Rose leads the Prevention Partners, Inc. team, a non-profit 501c3, which designs innovative community health education programs, to improve health awareness and healthcare access for diverse populations in at risk, faith-based communities around the country. Prevention Partners, Inc. services are provided through funding from private and public sponsors, community collaborations and sponsorships.
